SIEMENS AT EMO HANNOVER 2025: ELEVATING ROBOT PRECISION TO A NEW LEVEL
22 July, 2025With the Sinumerik Machine Tool Robot (MTR), Siemens is redefining industrial robotics. This groundbreaking innovation increases path accuracy by up to 300 percent and boosts productivity by up to 40 percent — a significant advancement for demanding industries such as aerospace, automotive, and the post-processing of 3D-printed metal parts.
At the heart of the MTR is an intelligent control system that gives industrial robots the precision of traditional machine tools. Even when machining hard materials like steel, the accuracy remains consistently high. The MTR is controlled via Siemens’ “Digital Native CNC” Sinumerik One, which enables complete virtual simulation through its digital twin.
Among the first companies to integrate this technology is Danobat, that is launching a new generation of high-precision robots — with payloads of up to 520 kg and reach of up to 3.6 meters.
Under the motto “Shape the future of the shopfloor. Now.” Siemens is presenting the MTR at EMO, underscoring its role as a driver of digital transformation in manufacturing.
