26 February, 2024Oreka IT has closed its highest turnover to date in 2023, reaching 5.4 million euros, an increase of 18.25% over the previous year.
These good results are the result of a strategy of technological diversification, with new solutions launched on the market for the digitalisation of industry, to which must be added the new opening of its headquarters in Donostia (Gipuzkoa), which has led the company from Alava to increase its EBITDA by over 11%.
For the 2024 financial year, Oreka IT has reached an agreement to integrate the Catalan company Intarex, a specialist in SAP Business One technology services, into its structure.
In this way, Oreka IT significantly strengthens its line of services aimed at SMEs, incorporating into its structure the knowledge and experience that Intarex has accumulated in this field over its 30 years of experience.
Intarex was founded in 1994 in Igualada (Barcelona) with a specialisation strategy: the development of vertical solutions for textile (fashion and footwear), tanneries and chemical companies. In 2006, it became a SAP partner, integrating its vertical solutions into SAP Business One and positioning itself as a reference partner for the digital transformation of SMEs.
With this operation, Oreka IT consolidates a staff of 130 professionals and expects to reach a turnover of 8 million euros in 2024, while making a qualitative leap in its range of services for SMEs thanks to the solutions and expertise of the Catalan consultancy firm. On the other hand, Intarex customers will be able to access a wider range of solutions and services covering their digitisation needs in any of their management areas.
Thanks to this agreement, Oreka IT will open its first work centre in Catalonia, from where it will offer its entire portfolio of services aimed at the digital transformation of companies, and will promote, as it already does in the Basque Country and Navarra, agreements with universities and professional training centres for the training of SAP consultants and consultancies, thus reinforcing its commitment to the local environment and local talent.
