OMRON INTRODUCES THE DX1 DATA FLOW CONTROLLER: A NEW BENCHMARK FOR SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE EDGE DATA MANAGEMENT

OMRON has launched the DX1 Data Flow Controller, its first industrial edge controller designed to streamline data collection and utilization on the factory floor. The new device is fully integrated into OMRON’s Sysmac automation platform, offering a plug-and-play approach to turning operational data into actionable insights.

The DX1 enables the collection, analysis, and visualization of data from sensors, PLCs, and other automation devices—without programming or specialized software. Its intuitive visual interface allows users to build data flows by simply connecting processing blocks on screen, significantly reducing setup time and complexity.

Pre-installed with SpeeDBee Synapse® middleware (by SALTYSTER, Inc.), the DX1 facilitates real-time data processing and analysis. With Ethernet connectivity and multi-vendor PLC compatibility, the controller can be installed in existing production lines without halting operations or replacing legacy equipment.
