The AFM Cluster 2020 external promotion plan is full of activities that will foster the presence and expansion of the cluster, as well as its associates, in key international markets.
As for the machine tool fairs, the most outstanding of the year will be the 31st edition of BIEMH, which will be held in Bilbao between May 25 and 29 and will include the celebration of Addit3D, Bedigital, Workinn and a special space for industrial startups, the latest companies to join the cluster of advanced manufacturing, through the newly created Uptek association.
On the other hand, among the many European biennial fairs that are celebrated in even years, the strongest will be the AMB in Stuttgart (September 15-19) and the EUROBLECH in Hannover (October 27-30), the latter for the deformation subsector. In addition we will also follow closely the GLOBAL INDUSTRIE fairs in Paris (March 31 - April 3), METALLOOBRABOTKA in Moscow (May 25-29), BIMU in Milan (October 14-17) and EMAF in Porto (November 18-21).
Outside Europe two North American fairs: the IMTS in Chicago (September 14-19) and the emerging Expomaq in León, Mexico (April 21-24).
The FORMNEXT fair (Frankfurt, Germany, November 17-20) will be the main international event for ADDIMAT’s associate companies, together with ADDIT3D that celebrates its fifth edition in 2020 as part of the BIEMH celebration.
ESKUIN and its associated companies will also be present at EXPOFERRETERA in Guadalajara, Mexico, from September 10 to 12, and at SECURITY ESSEN, Germany, from September 22 to 25.
For AFMEC companies, MIDEST stands out (to be held in Paris from March 31 to April 3, next to the GLOBAL INDUSTRIE fair), Hannover Messe, from April 20 to 24 in the German city, and the aforementioned EMAF in Porto, from November 18 to 21.
With regard to direct missions, countries with already set visits are China, Colombia, France, Germany, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Russia and United States.
